The scheme provides significant financial assistance up to ₹35 lakh per project for eligible industrial units in Gujarat. This assistance is disbursed as a reimbursement on the cost of plant and machinery, directly supporting investment in environmental upgrades.
For MSMEs, the support can cover up to 35% of the cost of plant and machinery when implementing cleaner production technologies (such as raw material substitution, reduction in water/energy consumption, or waste minimization), with an overall ceiling of ₹35 lakh. For large projects, this assistance is up to 10% of the cost, also capped at ₹35 lakh.
For other environment management projects utilizing clean, efficient, and innovative pollution control equipment, MSMEs can receive up to 25% of the plant and machinery cost (up to ₹35 lakh), while large projects receive up to 10% (up to ₹35 lakh). This direct financial support helps industries invest in sustainable practices and achieve environmental compliance.

चयन प्रक्रिया
Applications submitted by eligible industries will undergo an initial review by the Industries Commissionerate. Following this, the final sanction of assistance under the scheme will be made by the State Level Empowered Committee. This committee evaluates the proposed project details and ensures compliance with all environmental regulations and scheme criteria. Once sanctioned, the approved financial assistance will be disbursed by the Industries Commissionerate to the eligible industrial unit.
