Programmes they run

Standing programmes at AIC GGSIPU, separate from the funding calls above.

Three programmes are for founders — Aspire, Spark and Ignite — and three are for institutions and companies — SandboX, CorporateX and SolverX. Duration, mode of delivery, eligibility, mode of selection and fee are set per cohort on each programme's own page, and are not published outside the site's account area, so none are listed here.

Aspire

Programme

A guided learning programme for aspiring entrepreneurs who are still shaping an idea.

Best for: Aspiring entrepreneurs with an unclear roadmap and little validation

  • Idea
What you get, who can apply and how to apply

Aspire is the first rung of AIC GGSIPU's ladder for founders. The centre frames it around the problems aspiring entrepreneurs run into early — an unclear roadmap and weak validation — and works through guided learning and real-world execution.

What you get

  • A refined pitch to communicate your idea
  • A peer network
  • Foundational learning

Who can apply

  • Aspiring entrepreneurs, described by the centre as anyone ready to build their startup journey

How to apply: Create an account on AIC GGSIPU's site, open the Programs page and apply against an open Aspire cohort. Duration, mode of delivery, eligibility, mode of selection and fee are stated on the cohort's own page. General questions go to info@aic-ggsipu.org.

Spark

Incubation

A cohort programme pairing founders with mentors, investor readiness support and a community.

Best for: Founders building a startup who want mentorship, a community and investor readiness

What you get, who can apply and how to apply

Spark is AIC GGSIPU's incubation cohort for founders who are already building. The centre describes it as expert mentorship and investor readiness inside a community. It runs in numbered cohorts, and cohorts have carried themes — a recent one was built around sustainability and climate tech.

What you get

  • A strong network, fundraising help and ongoing support
  • Execution tools, resources and co-working space
  • Personalised mentorship and practical learning

How to apply: Create an account on AIC GGSIPU's site, pick the open Spark cohort from the Programs page and fill the application. The form asks for a pitch deck, your problem statement, your innovation and any patents, three differentiators, current traction and an unlisted pitch video of up to three minutes with all founders present. Duration, eligibility, mode of selection and fee are stated on the cohort's page. General questions go to info@aic-ggsipu.org.

How to apply to AIC GGSIPU

Choosing a programme

  • Aspire if you are still shaping the idea. It is built for aspiring entrepreneurs with an unclear roadmap and little validation, and ends with a refined pitch, a peer network and foundational learning.
  • Spark if you are building and want mentorship, investor readiness and a community around you. It runs in numbered cohorts, sometimes with a theme, so check which cohort is open before you write anything.
  • Ignite if you are an early-stage tech startup heading for a seed or pre-Series A round. It is run as an accelerator and leans on investor access, a demo showcase and gap analysis.
  • If none of the three fits, use the direct pitch route rather than forcing your startup into the wrong cohort.

Institutions and companies

SandboX, CorporateX and SolverX are for colleges, corporates and student consultants rather than for a founder applying alone. If you are a founder, they are not your route in.

How applications work

  • You need an account on AIC GGSIPU's own site before you can apply; there is no separate portal.
  • Applications are made against a specific cohort, picked from a cohort selector on the Programs page.
  • Each programme states its own duration, mode of delivery, eligibility, mode of selection and fee on its page, and these differ per cohort. Read that page rather than assuming the terms are the same as last time.
  • General questions go to info@aic-ggsipu.org.

What the form asks for

Draft these before you open the form — it is long, and most of it is free text with a character limit:

  • A pitch deck under 5 MB.
  • The legal name and the brand name of the startup, and your domain.
  • The problem you are solving and how it is addressed today.
  • Your innovation, and any patents you have applied for or received.
  • Your top three differentiators against close competitors, stated specifically.
  • The top three things you want AIC-GGSIPU to help with.
  • Current traction, stated specifically.
  • Whether you need co-working space, whether you are fundraising now, and how you would prefer to meet.
  • An unlisted pitch video of no more than three minutes, reachable by link, with every founder present on camera.

What to expect

  • Selection is per programme — each one states its own mode of selection.
  • The centre points founders at mentorship, its co-working space, lab access and investor and government funding routes, so it helps to say which of those you actually need.

About AIC GGSIPU

AIC GGSIPU Foundation is the Atal Incubation Centre attached to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in New Delhi. The university established it under the auspices of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, Government of India, and it is registered as a Section 8 company under the aegis of GGSIPU. It sits on the university campus at Sector 16-C, Dwarka, New Delhi 110078.

What it offers

The centre sums up what a startup gets under six headings: mentorship from business mentors and experts, a co-working environment, funding opportunities, networking, lab access, and programmes built for different stages. It describes its mentors and experts as industry veterans and founders. The funding routes it names are AIC's own, government schemes, and investors in its network. Its networking events are aimed at students, founders, mentors, corporates and investors together.

Programmes for founders

Three programmes run for startups, and the site presents them as a ladder.

Aspire is for aspiring entrepreneurs. The centre frames it around unclear roadmaps and weak validation, and works through guided learning and real-world execution. Participants come away with a refined pitch, a peer network and foundational learning.

Spark is for founders who already have something to build on. It is described as expert mentorship and investor readiness inside a community, and lists a network with fundraising and ongoing support, execution tools, resources and co-working space, and personalised mentorship with practical learning. Spark runs in numbered cohorts, and a recent one was themed around sustainability and climate tech.

Ignite is the accelerator. It prepares early-stage, tech-focused startups for seed and pre-Series A funding, and lists investor access and a demo showcase, scaling and pitch readiness, and an expert gap analysis with a tailored roadmap.

Each programme page carries its own fields for duration, mode of delivery, eligibility, mode of selection and fee, so those details change from cohort to cohort. They sit behind the site's account area and could not be read from outside it.

Programmes for institutions and companies

Three more programmes are aimed at organisations rather than individual founders. SandboX is a hub-and-spoke model that links institutes with AIC-GGSIPU to channel youth talent into innovation-driven problem solving, and offers validation and prototyping resources along with mentorship. CorporateX connects corporations with startups and academia, and is pitched on access to a talent pipeline, faster and cheaper R&D, and outcome-driven innovation. SolverX is a student-powered consulting network that delivers live, paid work for startups, MSMEs and corporations, giving students consulting experience and businesses a lower-cost route to a solution.

Facilities

Startups get a co-working space on campus, described as a collaborative workspace with high-speed internet, amenities, community events and professional support. The centre also lists advanced Digital Fab, R&D and prototyping labs, and says incubatees can use both its in-house labs and labs at a network partner, spanning digital, biotechnology, chemical technology and environmental technology.

Track record

The centre publishes its own counts, and they do not agree with each other. Two blocks on the same homepage give different figures for startups supported, jobs created, entrepreneurs reached, community size and events run, and a third figure appears again in a homepage news card. Because of that, no count is printed here. Any number on their pages is worth confirming with the team before you rely on it.

How to apply

Applying means creating an account on the centre's own site. From the Programs page you pick a cohort and fill an application; if no programme fits, there is a direct pitch route instead. Either way the form is long. It asks for your pitch deck, the legal and brand name of the startup, your domain, the problem you are solving and how it is addressed today, your innovation and any patents applied for or granted, your three differentiators against close competitors, what you want from AIC-GGSIPU, current traction, whether you need co-working space, whether you are fundraising now, and an unlisted pitch video of up to three minutes with all founders on camera.

General enquiries go to info@aic-ggsipu.org. The site also runs an events page and a community section, though no upcoming events were listed when this page was checked.
