iHub-AWaDH (Agriculture and Water Technology Development Hub) is a national deep-tech hub at IIT Ropar established under DST's National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) with initial support of Rs 110 crore. It focuses on agriculture and water technology development through incubation, collaborative R&D, and skill development programs.
The hub has incubated 150+ startups, facilitated Rs 120 crore+ in overall funding, developed 70+ technologies, nurtured 100+ agritech and water-tech startups, and skilled 5,000+ youth in cyber-physical systems with a focus on AI and IoT. AWaDH won the National Incubation Centre Award at Ek Bharat-Udyami Bharat, recognizing its contribution to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
