About AWaDH, IIT Ropar

iHub-AWaDH (कृषि और जल प्रौद्योगिकी विकास हब) आईआईटी रोपड़ में एक राष्ट्रीय डीप-टेक हब है, जो डीएसटी के इंटरडिसिप्लिनरी साइबर फिजिकल सिस्टम (NM-ICPS) पर राष्ट्रीय मिशन के तहत ₹110 करोड़ के प्रारंभिक सहयोग से स्थापित किया गया है। यह इनक्यूबेशन, सहयोगात्मक अनुसंधान एवं विकास (R&D) और कौशल विकास कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से कृषि और जल प्रौद्योगिकी के विकास पर केंद्रित है।

इस हब ने 150 से अधिक स्टार्टअप्स को इनक्यूबेट किया है, कुल फंडिंग में ₹120 करोड़ से अधिक की सुविधा प्रदान की है, 70 से अधिक प्रौद्योगिकियों का विकास किया है, 100 से अधिक एग्रीटेक और वॉटर-टेक स्टार्टअप्स को पोषित किया है, और AI और IoT पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हुए 5,000 से अधिक युवाओं को साइबर-फिजिकल सिस्टम में कुशल बनाया है। AWaDH ने एक भारत-उद्यमी भारत में राष्ट्रीय इनक्यूबेशन सेंटर पुरस्कार जीता, जो नवाचार और उद्यमिता को बढ़ावा देने में इसके योगदान को मान्यता देता है।
