Track record
What Jagriti Enterprise Centre reports about its portfolio.
These are JECP's own published figures and none of them carries a date. They also do not agree across its site: enterprises supported is given as 259 on the impact page and as more than 200 on the About JECP page; the mentor count appears as 20, 50 and 85 on three different pages; and the About JECP page's claim of more than 50 million lives impacted sits next to an impact page figure of roughly 25,890 livelihoods, with the roadmap page suggesting the larger number is the population of the districts it works in. A plan to open centres in Ganjam, Nagpur and Kanyakumari is a plan, not a result.
All figures self-reported — jecp.in, as of Sept 2026.
Programmes they run
Standing programmes at Jagriti Enterprise Centre, separate from the funding calls above.
There is only one application route — the JECP Incubation Program form — and everything sector-specific sits behind it, so name your sector when you apply. The immersion and retreat offerings are a separate business and are booked through a facilities enquiry form instead. JECP nowhere states a fee or an equity stake for incubation, so both are unknown rather than confirmed absent.

Intakes run as cohorts and the form is open.
What you get
- Induction and orientation, then personalised mentorship and access to subject-matter experts
- Business planning and business-model refinement
- Market readiness and digital capacity building
- Help with branding, compliance and systems
- A peer group, monthly meetups, product and service demo days, and an investor demo day
- Progress tracking, a graduation ceremony and entry to the alumni network
- Training and capacity building, JECP membership, co-working space and business support services
- Support is described as most intense in months two to four
Who can apply
- JECP says its programmes suit various stages, from idea validation to scale-up
- Sectors in focus: handicrafts and apparel, women-led enterprise, healthcare, agro-processing and digital innovation
- It publishes no eligibility rules — no registration, district or turnover requirement is stated either way, so ask before you rule yourself out
How selection works: not published. The only thing JECP states is that its team gets in touch after you apply.
How to apply: fill the JECP Incubation Program form linked from the Apply item in the site's Get Involved menu. It is bilingual, allows one application per mobile number, and can be resumed from a link emailed to you. JECP says its team will contact you within two to three weeks. Questions go to support@jagriti.org.
Centres of Excellence
Centre of ExcellenceSeven sector centres — women, bioregional, digital, handicrafts and apparel, agro, healthcare and rural urbanization — each with its own chair and programmes.
Best for: Enterprises whose sector matches one of the seven centres
- In person
With Rainmatter Foundation, Zoho, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Cisco CSR India, Accenture
What you get, who can apply and how to applyHide details
JECP groups its sector work into seven Centres of Excellence, aimed at Tier 2 and Tier 3 districts with an early focus on eastern Uttar Pradesh. Each has a named chairperson and each is built on the same three pillars: innovation across value chains, 7M incubation support with a focus on women and youth, and development programmes run with the private sector, philanthropy and government. There is no separate application — you reach a centre through the incubation programme, so say which sector you are in.
The seven centres
- Women CoE, chaired by Vanita Viswanath — runs the Tech Shakti and Tech Shakti Sri programmes, with three pillars it calls Shakti for Enterprise, Confidence with Culture and Digital for Dignity
- Bioregional CoE, chaired by Dr Rajiv B Lall and supported by Rainmatter Foundation — runs the Green Enterprise Development Program across sustainable agriculture, climate and health, biodiversity, green infrastructure and local economies
- Digital CoE, chaired by Shoaib Ahmed and supported by Zoho, launched April 2023 — helps small firms adopt technology
- Handicrafts and Apparel CoE, chaired by Dr Toolika Gupta — works terracotta, moonj and banana fibre in Deoria, Kushinagar and Gorakhpur
- Agro CoE, chaired by Hemendra Mathur — incubates farmer producer companies and runs green skills, digital and financial literacy training
- Healthcare CoE, chaired by Annaswamy Vaidheesh — early stage, focused on non-communicable and communicable disease, women and child health and mental health
- Rural Urbanization CoE, chaired by Manish Agarwal — early stage, focused on energy access, mobility, sustainable construction and waste
How to apply: through the JECP Incubation Program form; there is no separate route to a centre.

Its stated goals are to establish digital-led business models, narrow the gender digital divide and support rural women entrepreneurs. JECP reports its results in the past tense and does not show an open intake, so treat it as between rounds and ask.
What you get
- Mobilization and training in the districts
- Digital integration, and incubation for the enterprises that come out of it
- Business models piloted with women entrepreneurs, from digital photography and graphic design to common service centres, soil health testing and drone services

Tech Shakti Sri is the Women CoE's second programme, supported by a Cisco CSR India grant. It is the one place on JECP's site where the centre states that money goes to the participant. Results are reported in the past tense with no open intake shown, so check its status before counting on it.

Three to five day immersions for schools and colleges, plus corporate retreats and campus hire — booked through the facilities enquiry form.
Best for: Colleges, schools and company teams who want to spend time on a working rural campus
- 3 to 5 days for a rural immersion
- In person
What you get, who can apply and how to applyHide details
This is JECP's non-founder side, and it is how the campus pays its way as a venue. Rural immersion programmes run three to five days for groups from schools, colleges and universities on the Deoria campus, which sits among farmland and a 300-year-old banyan tree. Corporate retreats combine meditation, team-building and market immersion. The campus is also hired out for conferences, workshops and training. Alongside these, JECP runs awareness work in the community: entrepreneurship awareness sessions, financial awareness sessions with Bombay Stock Exchange experts, a content-creation workshop and a science show, plus cultural and heritage events under the banyan tree.
What you get
- Entrepreneurship and rural livelihood exposure
- Farm-based learning activities
- Sessions with local innovators and Udyamis
- Meeting rooms, a 300-seater hall and co-working space on site
Who can apply
- Schools, colleges, universities, companies and institutions — this is not an incubation route
How to apply: use the facilities enquiry form on JECP's site, choosing the type of use and giving your dates and participant numbers.
Incubation tracks
The routes into Jagriti Enterprise Centre, and what each one includes.
JECP publishes one incubation track rather than a ladder of them. It gives no overall duration, and the only timing signal is that support is heaviest in months two to four.
| Track | Type | Space | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Incubation ProgramsJECP's words: tailored to various stages of the entrepreneurial journey, from idea validation to scale-up. No overall length is published; support is described as most intense in months two to four. What JECP membership involves, and whether it costs anything, is not stated. | Resident incubation | — | Training and capacity building, JECP membership, Co-working space, Business support services, Personalised mentorship and subject-matter experts, Demo days and an investor demo day |
Labs & facilities
Equipment and space on campus.
Everything below is on the Deoria campus unless it names a network office. JECP lists four further facility groups by heading only, with nothing behind the headings, so the list here is what it actually describes.
Multi-Purpose Hall
300-seater venue for community events, conferences and large gatherings.
Conference Room
12-seater room with LED screens and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Co-Working Spaces
Five 3-seater office spaces on the Deoria campus.
JECP Incubation Block, Deoria campus
The incubation block is stated as operational from 2023, on a campus surrounded by farmland. The campus is also hired out as an event venue. Four further groups of facilities are listed on JECP's site by heading only, so ask what they include.
District Udyam Upkendra network offices
District centres offering co-working, training and incubation space, each staffed by one Udyam Corps lead and two Udyam Mitras. Offices run in Deoria, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur, Ballia, Mau, Sant Kabir Nagar and Maharajganj; part of this is JECP's stated expansion plan rather than all built today.
Support services
Help offered alongside funding and space.
Support is organised as the 7M process. Read Money as financial readiness and introductions rather than investment: the funds JECP reports for its enterprises are described as raised from outside sources, and the only grant it states to a participant is on one women's programme.
Business advisory
Personalised mentorship, subject-matter experts, business planning and business-model refinement, delivered through the 7M process. JECP's pages give three different mentor counts, so take none of them as firm.
Market access
Market connect, market-readiness capacity building, monthly meetups, product and service demo days and an investor demo day. The Agro CoE also pairs incubated farmer producer companies with agri-technology firms.
Legal & finance
Branding, compliance and systems support, described as the miscellaneous services of the 7M process. Financial literacy sessions cover savings, insurance, lending and government schemes, and the Digital CoE has run accounting training on income tax, TDS and GST.
Design services
The Handicrafts and Apparel CoE works with artisan enterprises on design identity, material research and process change across terracotta, moonj and banana fibre.
Recognitions & empanelments
Official approvals this incubator holds.
Jagriti Sewa Sansthan, JECP's parent, appears as an established Atal Community Innovation Centre in Deoria on Atal Innovation Mission's own published list, with the year 2019. JECP's own site does not say this in words — it shows an ACIC logo in an uncaptioned partner grid — so we confirmed it against the Mission's list instead. Neither the list nor any Mission page states whether that funding is still running. A logo for the Uttar Pradesh government's StartInUp portal also appears in the same grid with no explanation, and one mentor is separately described as empanelled with StartInUp; neither is a recognition JECP claims for itself, so we do not record it.
Atal Community Innovation Centre (Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog) — held by Jagriti Sewa Sansthan, Deoria· 2019
Confirmed against Atal Innovation Mission's own published list of established Atal Community Innovation Centres, which names Jagriti Sewa Sansthan, Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, with the year 2019. The recognition belongs to JECP's parent society, not to the centre as a separate body, and JECP's own pages do not state it in words. Neither the list nor any Mission page says whether the funding is still running, so it cannot be told.
How to apply to Jagriti Enterprise Centre
About Jagriti Enterprise Centre
