KLE Technological University

KLE Centre for Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship (KLE-CTIE) is the technology business incubator at KLE Technological University in Hubballi, Karnataka. Formally registered in 2012, it is recognised as a Technology Business Incubator by the Department of Science & Technology and as a TIDE 2.0 G2 Centre by MeitY, Government of India.

The incubation journey at KLE began in 2007 with the creation of Startup Street, evolving into the formally registered CTIE five years later. KLE-CTIE has incubated over 145 startups, providing world-class infrastructure, funding, and mentorship for entrepreneurs, students, and researchers. Two incubated companies have reached valuations above INR 200 crore, and the ecosystem has created more than 1,800 jobs in the region. In collaboration with the Government of Karnataka and the India Electronics & Semiconductor Association (IESA), KLE-CTIE established the Hubli ESDM eXchange (HEX), a specialised incubation centre for the electronics system design and manufacturing sector.
