The Indian Institutes of Information Technology run their own incubators, innovation foundations and entrepreneurship cells, and one institute can have several of them under different names. IIIT incubators are tied to computer science and electronics research, which suits software, AI and embedded-systems founders.
The first thing to settle is who may join. Some IIIT programmes take outside founders, some only students, alumni or faculty of the institute, and some run a separate track for each. Read the eligibility on each profile and on the programme's own site before you plan around one.
Check what the programme gives beyond a desk. Lab and equipment access, faculty mentors, and a scheme-funded seed route are the things that make a campus incubator different from a coworking space, and they vary a great deal between institutes.

Can I join a IIIT incubator if I did not study there?
