The Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC) is a flagship government initiative in Bengaluru, Karnataka, dedicated to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization in the biotechnology sector. It was jointly established by the Government of Karnataka and the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. BBC offers a world-class innovation ecosystem, providing state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure, advanced scientific equipment, and shared facilities to biotech startups. The centre empowers entrepreneurs through mentorship, structured incubation programs, and access to funding, focusing on Health Tech, Agri Tech, Food Tech, Climate Tech, and Industry 5.0.
