BRIC-CDFD (Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics) is a life sciences research institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The CDFD Technology Incubator operates within the BRIC-CDFD campus in Uppal, Hyderabad, dedicated to nurturing early-stage innovations and deep-tech startups in biotechnology and allied disciplines.
The incubator provides access to state-of-the-art research infrastructure including advanced genomics and proteomics cores, an Experimental Animal Facility, greenhouse, and shared high-end scientific instrumentation. It offers co-working laboratory and office space, IP and technology transfer assistance, expert mentorship across technical, business, finance, legal, and regulatory domains, and networking and market linkages. Incubation is offered with zero equity dilution.
The iDeaNA Technology Incubator was recently inaugurated at BRIC-CDFD, designed to accelerate early-stage innovations in life sciences.
