iTIC (IIT Hyderabad Technology Incubation Centre) is a not-for-profit society established in 2015 under the aegis of IIT Hyderabad, supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The incubator focuses on supporting deep-tech startups from idea to growth stage through structured pre-incubation, incubation, and accelerator programs. Thrust areas include artificial intelligence, aerospace, telecommunications, digital manufacturing, chip design, sensors, biomedical technology, automotive, advanced materials, energy, and flexible electronics. Since inception, iTIC has supported over 70 startups, sanctioned more than 5 crore rupees in direct funding, helped portfolio companies raise over 50 crore rupees from external sources, and facilitated more than 100 crore rupees in aggregate revenue and 800-plus jobs. The incubator provides mentoring, financial aid, IP support, networking, dedicated office and co-working space, software tools, access to IIT Hyderabad's technological infrastructure, and a makerlab.
Deep-tech founders, researchers, and student entrepreneurs from IIT Hyderabad and beyond seeking structured incubation with access to IIT-grade labs, makerlab facilities, and direct seed funding. Startups in AI, semiconductor design, aerospace, advanced materials, and biomedical technology are particularly well-aligned with iTIC's incubation capabilities and technology infrastructure.
