Programmes they run

Standing programmes at Silver Ridge Accelerator, separate from the funding calls above.

Silver Ridge runs one programme and takes applications on a rolling basis. Its length, delivery format, whether it takes equity and whether it costs the founder anything are not published anywhere on its site.

A rolling-intake accelerator for post-product companies with early revenue, offering mentorship, business development, legal and compliance support, and access to capital.

Best for: Founders with a built product and early revenue, building a digital-first business for global markets.

  • Early revenue – Growth

With AngelList India, Recur Club, MG & Co. Legal

What you get, who can apply and how to apply

Silver Ridge runs a single accelerator programme, open on a rolling basis — no cohort, batch or deadline is published.

What you get

  • Access to a global partner ecosystem
  • Support with market expansion
  • Access to capital, and support putting together investment collaterals
  • Mentorship, and business development support
  • Structuring, legal and compliance support
  • Support on the follow-on round

Who can apply

  • Founders with a product already built and solving a real problem
  • Companies with early revenue at the annual recurring revenue threshold Silver Ridge names
  • Digital-first, tech-driven and scalable business models
  • A clear differentiator in a crowded market
  • No sector restriction, incorporation requirement or geography gate is published

How selection works: Silver Ridge weighs the team at sixty per cent and the idea at forty. On the team it looks for resilience, decisiveness and boldness, integrity, clarity rather than jargon, the ability to navigate ambiguity, technical proficiency with a record of execution, and skin in the game. On the idea it looks for a unique proposition, a strong competitive advantage, a frugal and clear business model, achievable revenue potential, a capital utilisation plan and a path to profitability. No interview stage or decision timeline is published.

How to apply: Use the "Apply Now" button on the Silver Ridge site to open its online application form; it asks you to sign in with a Google account. There is no deadline and no application fee is mentioned. Questions can go to contact@silverridgeaccelerator.com.

Programme length, delivery format, whether equity is taken and whether the programme costs anything are not stated anywhere on the site — ask before committing.

How to apply to Silver Ridge Accelerator

Before you apply

Silver Ridge screens on four things and says so plainly: a product that is already built and working, early revenue at the threshold it names, a digital-first and scalable model, and a clear differentiator. If you are pre-product or pre-revenue, this is not the right stage of programme for you — it is aimed at companies that already have traction and want help turning it into a bigger market and a bigger round.

Get the unanswered questions answered first

Four things a founder normally decides on are simply not published: how long the programme runs, whether it is online or in person, whether Silver Ridge takes equity, and whether taking part costs you anything. Ask all four by email before you commit to anything, and get the answer in writing. The same goes for what "access to capital" means in practice — whether it is an investment from Silver Ridge, an introduction to its network, or both.

Write for the 60/40 rule

The site says sixty per cent of the decision is the team and forty per cent the idea, and it lists the twelve things it weighs. Use them as your outline.

  • On the team half, it is looking for resilience, decisiveness, integrity, the ability to work through ambiguity, technical depth backed by a record of shipping, and skin in the game. Show these with specifics: what you built, what went wrong, what you decided, what you put in yourself.
  • On the idea half, it wants a unique proposition, a real competitive advantage, a frugal and clearly explained business model, revenue potential that is achievable rather than theoretical, a plan for how you would use capital, and a path to profitability.
  • It explicitly asks for "clarity, not jargon". Write plainly and cut the buzzwords.

What to have ready

  • Your current revenue and how it has moved over the last few months, with the underlying numbers.
  • A short, honest account of why your product wins against the obvious alternatives.
  • A capital utilisation plan — what you would spend a round on, and what it buys.
  • A credible route to profitability, even if it is some way off.

How applications are handled

There is no cohort, batch or deadline published, so applications are read as they come in rather than in rounds. That means there is no rush, but also no published timeline for a decision. The form needs a Google sign-in, so use an account you can access. If you do not hear back in a reasonable time, follow up on the general contact address rather than reapplying.

About Silver Ridge Accelerator

Silver Ridge Accelerator is a privately run accelerator for founders who already have a working product and early revenue and want to build for markets beyond the one they started in. It is led by a single named partner, Dhiraj Shah, whose background is in venture capital at Venture Catalysts and in operations at Castler. It is a young and deliberately small operation: its whole public presence is one page, and several of the endorsements on that page were written while the accelerator was still being set up.

How the programme works

There is one programme. Silver Ridge describes it as partnership rather than a taught course, and says it works alongside founders on business development, mentorship and access to capital. The published list of what a selected company gets covers eight things: access to a global partner ecosystem, help with market expansion, access to capital, support in putting together investment collaterals, mentorship, structuring, legal and compliance support, business development support, and support on the follow-on round.

What the site does not publish is as relevant as what it does. There is no cohort, batch, intake window or deadline anywhere on the site, so applications appear to be read as they arrive rather than in rounds. The programme's length is not stated. Whether it runs online, in person or as a mix is not stated. Whether Silver Ridge takes equity is not stated either way, and neither is whether the founder pays anything to take part. A founder should settle all four of those in writing before committing, because the site will not answer them.

Three organisations are shown as growth partners: AngelList India, Recur Club and MG & Co. Legal. The site names them but does not describe what each partner does for a participating company.

Who can apply

Silver Ridge publishes four screening parameters, and all four are about the company rather than about who the founders are. It wants a product that is already built and solving a real problem; early revenue traction at an annual recurring revenue threshold it names on the page; a digital-first, tech-driven and scalable business model; and a clear differentiator in a crowded market.

There is no stated restriction by sector. There is no stated requirement that the company be incorporated, and no stated restriction by country, state, founder category or company age. Nothing on the site limits the programme to Indian-registered companies, and nothing confirms that it is open beyond them. Everything visible about the operation points to Indian founders — its partner's background, the partners it names, and every company and founder it shows — so an Indian startup with revenue is plainly the kind of applicant it is built around. A founder outside that description should ask before applying.

How selection works

Silver Ridge publishes a weighting rather than a process, and it is unusually explicit about it. Its "60/40 Rule" puts sixty per cent of the decision on the team and forty per cent on the idea, on the reasoning that markets and technologies change while strong teams keep finding a way through.

On the team side it names six things: resilience, decisiveness and boldness; integrity and trustworthiness; clarity rather than jargon; the ability to navigate ambiguity; technical proficiency backed by a track record of execution; and skin in the game. On the idea side it names six more: a unique proposition; a strong competitive advantage; a frugal and clear business model; serviceable and achievable revenue potential; a plan for how capital will be used; and a path to profitability.

No interview stage, screening call, diligence step or decision timeline is described, so a founder cannot tell from the site how long a decision takes.

Who runs it

One person is named on the site: Dhiraj Shah, Partner. His profile describes a focus on ethical investing, experience in venture capital at Venture Catalysts and in operational growth at Castler, and an investor network he says spans four geographies. No other staff member, adviser, board member or mentor is named, and no fund, vehicle or parent company is named either.

Nine testimonials appear on the page, from founders at Delhivery, Castler, Lorien Finance, SalesAgents.ai, Basic Home Loan, Ensuredit, D'Moksha Homes and Zingbus. Almost all of them are about working with Dhiraj Shah personally rather than about going through the accelerator, and two of them describe the accelerator as something he was about to launch.

What the track record on its site refers to

The page carries a block of figures — startups evaluated, startups fundraised for, follow-on rounds, exits and a mortality rate — under the heading "Founding Team Track Record". These are the founding team's record from before Silver Ridge, not results the accelerator has produced, and they are self-reported and undated. The page also ships two versions of the same block that label the same figure differently, one as startups fundraised for and the other as startups funded, which are different claims. A row of eighteen company logos sits under the heading "Previously Backed Companies" and is likewise not presented as a Silver Ridge portfolio.

Where it is based

The site states no address, city, state or country, and gives no phone number. Its only contact route is a general email address and the application form.

How to apply

Every "Apply Now" button on the site opens the same online application form. There is no deadline to work to and no application fee is mentioned. The form asks the applicant to sign in with a Google account before it will open. Questions can also go to contact@silverridgeaccelerator.com.
