VIT TBI

VIT TBI (Vellore Institute of Technology - Technology Business Incubator) is a non-profit incubation society incorporated in 2003 at VIT, Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Started with initial grant support from the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, VIT TBI supports innovative technology startups with access to knowledge, funding, infrastructure, mentoring, and networks. The incubator operates active programs supported by DST, BIRAC under the BioNEST scheme for bioincubation, and MeitY under the TIDE 2.0 scheme for ICT startups working with emerging technologies like IoT, AI, blockchain, and robotics. Through the TIDE 2.0 centre, VIT TBI has been offering MeitY Entrepreneur-in-Residence and grant programs for innovators since 2019, providing holistic incubation support to technology ventures.
