Yenepoya School of Engineering and Technology

Yenepoya Technology Incubator (YTI) is the incubator of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), based in Mangaluru, Karnataka. It identifies, fosters and mentors innovators and entrepreneurs in the healthcare innovation process.

Who runs it

YTI is registered as a not-for-profit Section 8 organization under the name Yenepoya Foundation for Technology Incubation. It draws on the university's strengths in medicine, public health and biotechnology, and brings together innovators from healthcare, engineering and the sciences, along with domain experts from academia and industry.

What it offers

The incubator provides services and funding, advisory and infrastructure support across the startup lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping through to commercialization.

Focus areas

Medical biotechnology, point-of-care diagnostics and monitoring devices, tissue engineering and 3D printing, pharmaceuticals, food and nutrition, autonomous systems, healthcare internet of things, and digital health with machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Who can apply

The incubator is aimed at innovators and entrepreneurs in healthcare innovation. Whether founders from outside Yenepoya can join is not published, so ask before applying.
