About this grant
The Scale-up Grant from the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) gives technology-based startups up to ₹15 lakhs to scale after proving their market. Funds are released in milestone-based tranches under KSUM's guidelines and performance benchmarks.
You can spend it on entering new geographical markets, branding and marketing, product feature enhancements and customer acquisition. The grant mainly supports marketing, branding, business development and customer acquisition, with specific caps on product enhancement.
You need ₹10 lakhs revenue in 6 months or ₹30 lakhs external equity. You must own an innovative technology-based product and hold a valid KSUM Unique ID. You must be incorporated as a Private Limited Company, Limited Liability Partnership or One Person Company with active MCA status. You must bring margin money of 50% of the approved grant amount.
Startups that already received other KSUM grants, such as Idea, Productization or Market Acceleration Grants, can apply for the remaining eligible amount.
