How It Works

Registration on ZED portal
MSME registers on the ZED portal (zed.msme.gov.in) and fills the self-assessment questionnaire.

ZED assessment
A trained ZED assessor visits the facility and evaluates the 50+ parameters in the assessment framework.

Rating determination
Based on the assessment score, a rating (Bronze through Platinum) is assigned. Non-conformities and improvement areas are identified.
- 4
Action plan and certification
The MSME implements the improvement plan. The final ZED rating certificate is issued.
