Startup Odisha - Financial Assistance for Recognized Startups

To avail financial benefits, the startup must first be recognized under the Startup Odisha program. Eligibility criteria for recognition include:

• Incorporation/registration not prior to 7 years (10 years for Biotechnology Startups).
• Annual turnover not exceeding Rs. 25 Crore in any preceding financial year.
• If not registered in Odisha, employing at least 50% of the qualified workforce in Odisha.
• Not an extension of an existing family business or formed by splitting/reconstruction.
• Proof of innovation (e.g., DIPP recognition, patent filed, funding/grant from government, funding from SEBI registered entities, or a write-up explaining innovation).

Specific conditions apply for each monetary benefit (e.g., for monthly allowance, the startup needs to have received a certain amount of equity funding, filed a patent, received a government grant, or have a specific revenue run rate). Similar conditions apply for product development and marketing assistance with higher thresholds.
