Startup Odisha

Startup Odisha is the nodal agency for building the startup and innovation ecosystem in Odisha, operating under the MSME Department of the Government of Odisha. Established through the Odisha Startup Policy in 2016, it provides a single-window clearance mechanism for startup registration and approvals. The program offers subsidised incubation space at up to 50 percent of monthly rental, a monthly founder allowance of 20,000 rupees (22,000 for women and SC/ST/SEBC/PH founders), and up to 16 lakh rupees for product development and marketing. Startup Odisha supports participation in national and international events through airfare subsidies and free stall space. Recent initiatives include the X-Change Programme for inter-ecosystem collaboration and Launchpad 2025 for capacity building among incubators. The network includes recognised incubators at institutions like IIM Sambalpur.
