Bharat Academix CodeQuest Hackathon 2026 is a national-level online hackathon designed to empower students, developers, innovators, designers, and technology enthusiasts across India. Organized by
Bharat Academix, this competition encourages participants to develop innovative solutions addressing real-world challenges using a wide array of emerging technologies. It offers a unique platform for collaboration, innovation, and competition, providing valuable experience, networking, and industry exposure. Who Should Apply The hackathon is open to College Students, Freshers, and Professionals from all academic disciplines across India. Participants can join individually or form teams of up to three members. Cross-disciplinary teams are highly encouraged to foster diverse perspectives and solutions. Tracks / Themes Participants are invited to develop solutions within one or more of the following critical domains: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning: Leveraging AI/ML for smart solutions. Healthcare Technology: Innovations to improve health outcomes and services. Education Technology: Solutions enhancing learning and educational access. Smart Cities: Technologies for urban development and efficiency. FinTech: Financial technology innovations. Agriculture & Rural Development: Tech solutions for agricultural challenges and rural upliftment. Sustainability & Climate Tech: Innovations addressing environmental and climate issues. Cybersecurity: Enhancing digital security and privacy. Social Impact & Accessibility: Projects focused on societal good and inclusivity. Open Innovation: Solutions exploring new frontiers without specific theme constraints. Format & Timeline The hackathon features a two-round structure culminating in a Grand Finale. Round 1: Idea Submission: Participants submit their problem statement, proposed solution, technology stack, expected impact, and project roadmap. Round 2: Prototype Development: Shortlisted teams will build a working prototype, submit source code and documentation, and prepare a presentation/demo video, demonstrating feasibility and scalability. Grand Finale: Finalist teams will present their solutions to an expert evaluation panel comprising industry experts, researchers, and technology professionals. Solutions will be judged on Innovation & Creativity (25%), Technical Implementation (25%), Problem-Solving Approach (20%), User Experience & Design (15%), and Scalability & Impact (15%). Prizes & Benefits The hackathon offers a total cash prize pool of ₹2,60,000, distributed among the top five teams. Beyond cash prizes, participants can earn participation certificates, winner/runner-up certificates, internship opportunities with Bharat Academix, networking opportunities with industry experts, project showcase opportunities, recognition on official platforms, and career development opportunities.
