Global Buildathon '26 is an intensive 12-hour buildathon designed to empower students, beginners, developers, innovators, and problem solvers to transform their ideas into real-world solutions.
Organized by Baderia Global Institute of Engineering and Management in collaboration with Mew3 India, this event aims to strengthen emerging technologies within the region and foster a culture of innovation. Who Should Apply This buildathon is open to all students, beginners, developers, innovators, and problem solvers eager to build something meaningful. Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are highly encouraged. Participants should form teams of 2 to 4 members. Tracks & Themes Participants are invited to innovate across several key themes: EdTech: Solutions enhancing education and learning experiences. FinTech: Innovations in financial technology. Web3 and Blockchain: Projects leveraging decentralized technologies. AI-Assisted Productivity and Automation: Tools and systems that boost efficiency through AI. Open Innovation: Any creative solution addressing a significant problem. Format & Timeline The buildathon is a single-day, 12-hour event taking place on Sunday, June 21st, 2026, from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM at the Baderia Global Institute of Engineering and Management. Teams will work on their projects, culminating in presentations to a panel of judges. Judging criteria include innovation and creativity, technical implementation, problem-solving approach, scalability and impact, and user experience and design. Prizes Global Buildathon '26 offers a total cash prize pool of ₹10,000, along with certificates, trophies, and goodies for top performers. Additional awards recognize excellence in specific areas: Winner: ₹5,000 cash, Certificate, Trophy, Goodies First Runner-up: ₹3,000 cash, Certificate, Trophy, Goodies Second Runner-Up: ₹2,000 cash, Certificate, Trophy, Goodies Best UI Award: Certificate, Goodies Best Innovation Award: Certificate, Goodies Best Presentation Award: Certificate, Goodies Eligibility Everyone is eligible to apply. Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members. Participants are required to bring their own laptops and necessary devices. Internet access and event support will be provided.
