कोर्स और इनक्यूबेटर में से चुनाव

• CTTC के लंबे कोर्स स्कूल छोड़ने वालों और डिप्लोमा धारकों के लिए तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण हैं। ये स्टार्टअप सहायता नहीं हैं।

आवेदन कैसे काम करते हैं

• कोर्स के लिए प्रवेश फ़ॉर्म डाउनलोड करें, भरें और पंजीकरण शुल्क के डिमांड ड्राफ्ट के साथ Senior Manager (Training) को डाक से भेजें। चयन होने पर यह राशि कोर्स फीस में समायोजित होती है।
• डिप्लोमा में प्रवेश अखिल भारतीय प्रवेश परीक्षा से होता है, और कोर्स हर जुलाई में शुरू होते हैं।

चयन कैसे होता है

• डिप्लोमा सीटें अखिल भारतीय प्रवेश परीक्षा से भरी जाती हैं, जिनमें EWS, SC और ST उम्मीदवारों के लिए आरक्षित सीटें होती हैं।
• डिप्लोमा का intake 120 छात्र है। CIIE आह्वान 31 अगस्त की अंतिम तारीख और मध्य-सितंबर की कोहोर्ट शुरुआत बताता है, पर वर्ष नहीं लिखता, और कोई परिणाम या पोर्टफोलियो प्रकाशित नहीं है।

फ़ॉर्म में क्या पूछा जाता है

The Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC) in Bhubaneswar is a Government of India Society under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. It is a tool room and a technical training centre: it does tool and die design and manufacture, runs long and short technical courses, and supports small manufacturing units. Its contact page also styles it the MSME Technology Centre, Bhubaneswar. Training activities started in 1991 and tool production in 1995.

CTTC works from B-36, Chandaka Industrial Area, Bhubaneswar, on a plant of 11.3 acres. It runs extension centres at Rayagada, Kalinga Nagar in Jajpur, Berhampur in Ganjam, Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi, Keonjhar and Balasore.

How programmes work

CTTC's published programmes fall into two groups. The first is technical training. Long-term courses cover the Diploma in Tool & Die Making, the Diploma in Automation & Robotics, the Diploma in Mechatronics, an ITI course in Machinist and one-year NSQF courses. The diplomas run three years, the ITI course two years and the NSQF courses one year. Diploma courses are affiliated to DTET, Odisha. Shorter courses cover CAD/CAM design, CNC programming for tool rooms and CNC machining; the longer of them run six months on a six-day week.

The second group is startup support, through CIIE, the Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship. CIIE is a technology business incubator in Bhubaneswar, run by CTTC together with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and supported by GIZ Germany. It gives startups product design and development support for hardware manufacturing ideas, at subsidised rates compared with outside providers, and it offers furnished workspace, a board room and a rapid prototyping facility. Incubation is either physical at CTTC-CIIE in Bhubaneswar or virtual for startups anywhere in the country.

CTTC's site carries a call for startups to join a first CIIE cohort, with a deadline of August 31st and a cohort start described as possibly mid-September. The call gives no year for that deadline, and CTTC publishes no cohort results and no portfolio, so the current intake needs confirming with CTTC.

Who can apply

The Diploma in Tool & Die Making asks for HSC or SSLC with at least 50% marks, or 40% for SC and ST candidates, and takes 120 students across EWS, SC, ST and general seats. Entry to the diplomas is by an all-India entrance examination, and courses start each July. The ITI Machinist course asks for a 10th pass. The Assistant Tool & Die Maker course and the NSQF courses ask for a diploma or degree in mechanical, production or a related discipline. Short-term courses differ: the CAD/CAM design and CNC programmer courses ask for a diploma or degree in mechanical, production, tool and mould making or automobile engineering, while the assistant operator course in CNC milling asks for a 10th pass.

CIIE's call is addressed to startups. It sets out no formal eligibility criteria, and its application form asks whether the company is registered and whether the support wanted is physical or virtual.

Facilities

CIIE's call names well-furnished workspace with high-speed Wi-Fi, a board room, a rapid prototyping facility and other common facilities for incubatees. The wider CTTC plant covers 11.3 acres at Bhubaneswar. These are the facilities named for incubatees; CTTC publishes no general equipment list alongside them.

Who runs it

CTTC is a Government of India Society under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Its Governing Council is chaired by the Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner, MSME, in New Delhi. The Ministry's published list of Host Institutes for the incubation component of the MSME Innovative Scheme names CTTC at its Bhubaneswar address. That list carries no approval date and no status column.
