Goldman Sachs is a global investment banking and financial services corporation headquartered in New York. In India, Goldman Sachs operates the 10,000 Women initiative — a flagship social impact program providing free, practical business and management education to women entrepreneurs.
The programme is delivered in partnership with IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Lucknow at no cost to participants. Since 2008, it has supported 4,100+ women-led businesses in India through world-class in-person education.
Within 30 months of graduating, participants on average quadruple their revenue, increase productivity 5x, and double their workforce — creating 5 additional jobs each. Collectively, the program has contributed ₹28 billion in revenue and 12,000+ new jobs to the Indian economy.
Designed for established women entrepreneurs who are owners or co-owners of a business operational for at least one year, with minimum 3 employees and annual turnover of at least ₹30 lakhs.
