MSME Incubation Scheme (Support for Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of MSMEs through Incubators)

Grant scheme

Provides grant-in-aid of up to Rs. 15 lakh per idea for nurturing and up to Rs. 1 crore in seed capital for setting up startups.

Grant in Aid to HI for developing and nurturing the ideas up to max. Rs. 15.00 lakh per idea. Preferably, the duration of the project/idea is one year. For students, the contribution will be Nil and for MSMEs/others, contribution will be 15 % of total project cost. Assistance of up to Rs.1.00 cr as grants in aid for the seed capital support to appropriate Incubates shall be provided. Financial assistance may be given in the form of soft loan, interest free loan, equity participation, grant or combination of these etc.

MSME Innovative Scheme - IPR Component

Grant scheme

Offers 100% reimbursement for costs incurred in registering Patents, Trademarks, Geographical Indications, and Designs, up to specified maximum limits.

This component offers legal and intellectual property filing support including Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights, Designs, and Geographical Indications (GI) etc. It also provides IP advisory, Consultation, Patentability Searches, Technology Gap Analyses and IP Commercialisation. Maximum financial assistance is Rs. 5.00 lakh for Foreign Patent, Rs. 1.00 lakh for Domestic Patent, Rs. 2.00 lakh for GI Registration, Rs. 0.15 lakh for Design Registration, and Rs. 0.10 lakh for Trademark.

Grant scheme

Provides financial assistance of up to $50,000 USD for technology validation through UNIDO's FLCTD scheme.
