KIT's College of Engineering (Autonomous), Kolhapur (KITCOEK), established in 1983, was the first self-financed engineering college in Maharashtra. It is home to the KIT Innovation & Research Foundation (KIT's IRF) — one of Maharashtra's recognized technology business incubators.
