About Regional Centre for Biotechnology
The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an Institution of National Importance and a UNESCO Category II Centre located in Faridabad, Haryana. Its mandate focuses on providing a platform for biotechnology education, training, and multi-disciplinary research. The Centre's programmes integrate engineering, medicine, and science to address human and animal health, agriculture, and environmental technologies. It also conducts innovative research in areas such as Infectious Disease Biology and Plant Biotechnology, and features a Bio-Incubator, the Indian Biological Data Centre, and an Advanced Technology Platform Centre.
