Cloud Storage Reimbursement

This initiative is managed by the Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Haryana, in collaboration with Startup Haryana. Startup Haryana operates as a dedicated unit with a mandate to cultivate a supportive startup ecosystem across the state. Its mission encompasses fostering innovation, simplifying regulatory procedures, and providing financial and infrastructural assistance to emerging businesses, enabling them to grow and succeed within Haryana. The goal of this policy is to position Haryana as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, supporting startups in adopting cutting-edge technologies. This program is designed to provide financial relief to eligible startups by covering a portion of their operational technology expenses. It facilitates the reimbursement of 75% of actual costs incurred for cloud storage and cloud computing services. The annual reimbursement amount for each startup is capped at ₹2,50,000 (Two Lakh Fifty Thousand Indian Rupees). This cap ensures that the financial support is substantial and focused, helping startups manage one of their key infrastructure costs. Startups can avail this benefit for a period of up to five years, offering stability in managing their technology budgets. The funds disbursed are exclusively for expenses directly related to cloud infrastructure and services. Eligibility requires startups to use services from recognized cloud providers, including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure. These services must be integral to the startup's core business operations, enabling efficient data management, application hosting, and scalable digital infrastructure. By alleviating the financial burden associated with modern tech infrastructure, the policy empowers startups to allocate more resources towards core product development, research, market expansion, and talent acquisition, thereby accelerating their growth and contributing to the state's economy.
