Rungta College of Engineering and Technology (RCET), located in Durg (Chhattisgarh), is one of Central India's most innovation-forward engineering institutions and home to Rungta Business Incubator (RuBI) — the first fully functional private incubator in Chhattisgarh.

RuBI — Rungta Business Incubator

RuBI is registered with MSME, Ministry of Education, and Startup India. The incubator has received a ₹2 Crore seed fund grant from Startup India under the SISFS (Startup India Seed Fund Scheme), which it deploys directly to incubatees as early-stage capital.

The incubator has supported 60+ startups and provides:

• Modern co-working spaces with robust technical infrastructure
• Access to prototyping equipment, development tools, and test facilities
• Mentorship in legal, financial, technical, and IP-related services
• Market linkages and investor introductions
• Angel and early-stage investment facilitation

Rungta was also the first college in Chhattisgarh to implement the National Innovation & Startup Policy (NISP).
