  • Free, takes equity
What you get, who can apply and how to apply

ThinKuvate is a venture firm, so you pitch it rather than apply to a programme. It takes equity in the companies it backs.

Who can apply

  • Technology and tech-enabled startups at Seed to Series A in India or Southeast Asia
  • Sectors named on its site: HealthTech, FinTech, ConsumerTech, Cyber Security, EdTech, DeepTech, and EV and mobility

How selection works: The site says its pipeline team evaluates every submission and gets in touch if the startup matches its thesis. It looks for strong founders, traction beyond the idea stage, a scalable model and a large market.

How to apply: Fill in the Submit Your Startup form with company details, sector, stage, financials in US dollars and a pitch deck. The site gives no deadline.

Business advisory

ThinKuvate says it helps with go-to-market, cross-border entry, fundraising preparation, senior hiring and customer introductions.

How to apply to ThinKuvate

Before you pitch

  • ThinKuvate is a venture investor based in Singapore and takes equity. It is not a grant or an incubator.
  • It invests at Seed to Series A in India and Southeast Asia. Founders with only an idea and no product or customers are probably too early for it.
  • Check that your sector matches: HealthTech, FinTech, ConsumerTech, Cyber Security, EdTech, DeepTech, or EV and mobility.

How to apply

  • Use the Submit Your Startup form on the For Founders page. There is no application window.
  • Have your pitch deck ready as PDF, PowerPoint or Word, and your current revenue, runway, funding ask and valuation in US dollars.
  • It also asks whether you hold patented technology and links to each founder's LinkedIn profile.
  • A general inbox for questions is listed on the site, but the form is the stated route for a pitch.

What it says it looks for

  • Founders with strong execution, relevant domain expertise and the honesty to change course.
  • Customer adoption, revenue, pilots, partnerships or user growth.
  • A repeatable business model that can grow across markets.
  • Ambition beyond a single geography.

What to expect

  • The site says every submission is reviewed and that you are contacted if there is a fit. The site gives two different response times, so do not plan around either.

About ThinKuvate

ThinKuvate is a venture capital firm headquartered in Singapore that invests across India and Southeast Asia. It is not an Indian fund: its own site gives a Singapore street address and describes deep roots in India, a SEBI-registered Alternate Investment Fund and a Singapore-registered presence. For an Indian founder it is a cross-border investor that says it deploys at Seed and Series A in India.

Who ThinKuvate backs

The firm says it invests from Seed to Series A in technology and tech-enabled companies with strong execution and global ambition. Its stated sectors are HealthTech, FinTech, ConsumerTech, Cyber Security and EdTech, DeepTech (AI, DefenceTech, Semiconductors, Materials, SpaceTech and Robotics), and EV and mobility. It says it has backed 36 companies across India, Southeast Asia and the US, and names portfolio companies such as Eveez, Incredipets, KiVi, Pantherun, Nymbleup.ai, Zippee, GoodMonk and Floworks.ai.

How it started

The site says ThinKuvate did not begin as a fund. Six individual investors first backed a single company with their own capital, that investment led to an exit, and they then pooled their capital and built a firm around a shared process. It describes a network of more than 500 executives across 17 countries and 70 cities that founders can draw on.

What it looks for

The For Founders page lists four things: founders with strong execution and domain expertise, traction beyond the idea stage such as customers, revenue, pilots or partnerships, a scalable and repeatable business model, and a large underserved market. It calls this a general framework and not a rigid checklist, and says it backs people first. Its FAQ also says it is deliberately selective, having evaluated around 14,000 companies to make 33 investments.

How to pitch

There is no cohort or deadline. Founders submit a startup form on the site, which asks for company details, founder links, your sector and stage, whether you hold patented technology, your current revenue and runway, your funding ask and valuation, and a pitch deck. The site says every submission is reviewed and that you hear back if your startup matches the thesis. Note that the form asks for financial figures in US dollars.

Beyond the cheque

It says it helps with go-to-market for your home market and cross-border expansion, introductions across India, Singapore and Southeast Asia, fundraising preparation for Series A and institutional rounds, senior hiring, customer and partner introductions, and board support.
