About TiE Hyderabad

TiE Hyderabad is the Hyderabad chapter of TiE Global, founded in 1999 and run as a non-profit community of entrepreneurs, mentors and investors. Its office is at the EThames Business School premises in Khajaguda, Raidurg. The chapter describes five pillars of support: mentoring, networking, education, funding and incubation.

Who this is for

TiE Hyderabad is a membership body, and its programme pages say programmes are exclusive to members. For a founder that means the first step is joining, not applying to a cohort. The membership page lists categories for different people: Associate Membership for early-stage entrepreneurs and founders, Scaleup Membership for founders at the seed to pre-Series A stage who are actively scaling, and Future Founder Membership for aspiring and idea-stage founders and students. Charter Membership is for accomplished entrepreneurs and professionals who mentor others, so it is not the route for a startup looking for support.

What the chapter runs

TiE Nurture is described as a mentorship-led incubation programme for high-growth startups. The page gives no dates, duration or application form, only the member-only gate.

TiE Angels India lets Associate Members pitch their startups to Charter Members, who bring capital and experience. Startups must meet the eligibility criteria set by TiE Angels to be considered for pitching, and the page does not publish those criteria or any ticket sizes.

TiE Women is a TiE Global initiative with a Hyderabad chapter route for women founders. Its 2026 page asks for female-founded or co-founded startups, a minimum of 33% equity held by the female co-founder or co-founders, and a company in business for less than seven years. The page says there is no application or participation fee. Its 2026 applications closed in June 2026, so wait for the next round.

TiE U is a 6-month programme for college students, and TiE Young Entrepreneurs introduces high school students to entrepreneurship. Both are for students, not for registered companies.

Scale

The chapter says it has 175+ Charter Members and has impacted 6000+ startups. These are its own undated figures. Its home page and about page give different counts of annual events, so that count is not repeated here.
