Format & Timeline The competition is conducted across 19 major locations in India, with a hybrid format (online + offline) in Hyderabad. The process involves three stages:
- Stage 1 – Screening in your city: A 5-minute pitch to a panel of judges.
- Stage 2 – Grand Pitch: Selected startups showcase their products/services at the event, engage with visitors, and pitch live on stage to investors, jury members, and ecosystem leaders.
- Stage 3 – Rapid-fire & Winner Announcement: Winners are announced after a rapid-fire round, with funding and mentorship opportunities.
Prizes Total prize pool of up to ₹10,00,000 in funding, along with mentorship from industry experts and national exposure.

What You Get
Startup Dangal is a pitch-competition prize: winners are selected through city screenings, a live grand pitch, and a rapid-fire round, then receive the funding. The total prize pool is up to ₹10,00,000. On top of the cash, winners and finalists gain expert mentorship from industry leaders who have built successful startups, direct access to 50+ investors — including VCs and angel investors ready to fund their vision — and a stage to showcase products and services to buyers seeking investment-ready ventures. Participants also get national exposure and credibility from pitching on a recognised national platform.
