Hack The Matrix is an online Vibe Coding Hackathon organized by Kira's Logic Community, designed for Indian students eager to transition from learning to building. This competition welcomes
participants of all experience levels, emphasizing ideas, energy, and the drive to create innovative solutions to real-world problems. Who Should Apply This hackathon is open to all Indian students, including undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and diploma students. Participants can join individually or form teams of up to 4 members. No prior coding experience is required, making it accessible for aspiring builders and seasoned developers alike. Tracks / Themes Participants are encouraged to develop projects aligned with one of the following critical themes: AI & Automation: Craft smart tools to solve everyday challenges. Social Impact: Leverage technology to create a positive difference for India. EdTech: Innovate for the future of learning and education. FinTech: Develop financial solutions tailored for students and broader communities. Cybersecurity: Build secure systems to protect digital futures. Open Innovation: Tackle any problem with your unique solution. Format & Timeline The hackathon unfolds in three distinct rounds: Round 1 — Idea Submission: Teams submit a 1-page problem statement and proposed solution. No code is required at this stage, focusing purely on conceptual innovation. Top ideas will advance to the next round. Round 2 — Build & Present: Shortlisted teams will develop their projects, culminating in a working prototype or demo. Submissions include a 3-minute pitch video showcasing their solution. Round 3 — Final Pitch (Top 10): The top 10 teams will present their projects live to a panel of judges, followed by a Q&A session. Winners will be announced on the same day. Prizes All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation. Winning teams will be awarded Premium Certificates and special recognition. The top teams will also receive exclusive swag and be featured on Kira's Logic's Instagram and LinkedIn channels, providing valuable exposure and networking opportunities with student innovators across India. Eligibility Open to all Indian students (UG/PG/Diploma). Teams must consist of 1 to 4 members. Projects must be original, built entirely during the hackathon period, and align with the chosen theme. Plagiarism will result in instant disqualification. All team members must register individually on Unstop. How to Apply Registration is free and mandatory for all participants. The deadline for registration is June 20, 2026. Participants are also required to follow Kira's Logic on Instagram and LinkedIn, and join the official WhatsApp group (link provided after registration) for updates and communication.
