The Digital India Hackathon 2026 is a national-level hackathon hosted by Sreenidhi Institute of Science & Technology (SNIST) in Hyderabad. Participants are invited to submit tech abstracts and compete over a three-day event to build innovative solutions aligned with the Digital India vision.
Who Should Apply Open to students, developers, and innovators across India. Teams can register with a tech abstract for evaluation.
Format & Timeline The hackathon runs from July 9 to July 11, 2026. Teams must submit their tech abstract by July 5 for shortlisting. Shortlisted teams will build and present their prototypes during the event. Judging criteria and detailed format are provided upon registration.

Cash prize money: a ₹2,50,000 consolidated pool distributed across performance metrics to winning teams of the 24-hour offline code sprint, judged across 6 domain tracks centred on resource management, FOSS implementation, smart automation and localised micro-business utilities.
Top performers get direct internship placement pipelines with partner startups, corporate sponsors and scaling ecosystems (bypassing standard recruitment filters), and high-potential builds enter a post-event incubation pipeline to become production-ready tools. Winning teams also receive premium limited-edition merchandise, branded apparel and dev asset packs.
For teams clearing the Top 100 screening, the ₹300-per-participant offline fee covers full campus infrastructure access, mentor routing and all event meals — and is fully waived for the entire roster if the team's referral link drives 10 successful team sign-ups.
