Its counter says 75+, one of its own announcements says over 60 in one clause and 100+ in the next, its Startup Portfolio page names thirty, and the Uttar Pradesh government's recognised-incubators list records 14. The fourth edition ran on 14 and 15 November 2025, supported by Startup India (DPIIT), StartinUP and WASME. There is no 2026 edition on the site yet and the 2025 page no longer carries a registration link, so it is between editions. It is also the clearest route into the Hatchery for a founder with no Bennett connection.

Bennett Hatchery Foundation is listed on the StartinUP Recognized Incubators page on the Uttar Pradesh government's own site, with Bennett University as host institution, Gautam Buddha Nagar as district, an approval date of 24 April 2018 and just over ten thousand square feet of incubation space. Checked 25 September 2026. The list carries no status or expiry column, so whether the recognition is still current cannot be told from it — only that the row is still published. The Hatchery also names StartinUP as a supporter of its Bennovate summit.
DPIIT-recognised incubator; Startup India Seed Fund Scheme allocation
The Hatchery states on its own page that it is a DPIIT-recognised incubator. We could not confirm this against a public register — Startup India's and the seed fund scheme's incubator directories are single-page apps that serve no readable listing. Separately, the Hatchery announced on its own blog that it received an allocation under the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme, which is disbursed only to incubators the scheme has approved; that announcement describes the money as supporting student entrepreneurship. Treat the recognition as the provider's own claim, backed indirectly by the seed fund announcement.
Host Institute, MSME Innovative Scheme (Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises)
Listed at entry 131 of the Ministry's published List of Host Institutes for the incubation component of the MSME Innovative Scheme, as "Bennett University" (GAUTAM BUDDHA NAGAR, UTTAR PRADESH), checked 24 September 2026. This is the status that lets an innovator name the institute as their Host Institute when applying on the ministry's own portal. The list gives no approval date, no period and no status column, so whether the recognition is current cannot be told from it; and being listed is a capacity registration, not evidence that the institute has ever hosted an approved idea. No page on bennett.edu.in mentions the MSME Innovative Scheme.
