The Tripura Industrial Investment Promotion Incentives Scheme, 2022 (TIIPIS 2022), administered by the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Tripura, reimburses part of the cost of taking a Tripura industrial enterprise to State and national level fairs and exhibitions.
The stated quantum is 50% reimbursement of the expenditure incurred for travelling expenses of one person and for transportation of goods, subject to an upper ceiling of Rs.1.00 lakhs for each participation, and a maximum participation of 2 fairs in a year. The rupee cap that belongs on this program is Rs.1.00 lakh per participation. The two-fair limit is an eligibility cap on how often a unit may claim in a year; it is not a doubled rupee ceiling and must not be read as a two-lakh award.
Treat this incentive as its own program. It is incentive 10 of TIIPIS 2022, claimed through that scheme's process, and distinct from the export-promotion subsidy and from the State transport subsidy for secondary raw materials. It is open on a rolling basis with no advertised closing date. Applications go through the State's SWAAGAT single-window portal at https://swaagat.tripura.gov.in/.
The money is a reimbursement, not a loan and not equity. The unit attends an eligible State or national fair, keeps tickets and goods-transport bills for one traveller plus the exhibits, and then claims 50% of those costs, up to Rs.1.00 lakh for that participation. International fairs, where they are contemplated, need prior approval. There is no stated sector list in this clause, no DPIIT Startup India mandate, and no requirement to relocate. Founders keep their equity. The reimbursement is not repayable. The Department verifies the fair, the one-person travel rule, the goods-transport bills, the per-participation ceiling, and that the unit has not already used both of its two fairs for the year.
