CSJM Innovation Foundation

CSJM Innovation Foundation (CSJMIF) is a Section 8 not-for-profit company promoted by Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj (CSJM) University, Kanpur. It serves as a sector-agnostic techno-business incubator committed to building a startup ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh.

Mission

CSJMIF's vision is to turn teachers, faculty, students, and local residents into business owners — building an entrepreneurial ecosystem that makes Uttar Pradesh a hub of innovation and startup activity.

Support Offered

The foundation offers hand-holding, mentoring, product/service development support, pilot runs, product validation, market access, and acceleration for startups at various stages. It also runs joint programs such as the CSJM Innovation Foundation & BaryTech Seed Capital Program, offering equity-based investment of up to ₹10 lakhs for high-potential ventures in AI & Healthcare, Agri-Tech, Green-Tech, and next-generation technologies.
