Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN)

The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) is a Washington D.C.-based nonprofit organization operating in 200+ countries, making it the world's largest entrepreneurship network. Founded in 2010 out of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) initiative, GEN works to make it easier for anyone, anywhere, to start and scale a business.

Programs & Initiatives

• Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW): The world's largest celebration of entrepreneurship, held annually in November across 170+ countries. Indian editions feature thousands of events, competitions, and workshops connecting founders with mentors and investors
• GEN India: India chapter running programs, policy engagements, and ecosystem building activities in collaboration with government bodies, incubators, and corporations
• Startup Genome Partnership: GEN collaborates with Startup Genome on global startup ecosystem research, providing Indian ecosystems with benchmarking data
