TiE Udaipur

Start with a direct enquiry

TiE Udaipur does not publish application forms, deadlines or intake dates for its programmes. Write to info@udaipur.tie.org or call the number on its contact page, say which programme you are asking about, and ask when the next batch runs.

Pick the programme that matches you

• School student: ask about TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE).
• College or university student with a startup idea: ask about TiE University (TiE U), a six-month programme.
• Woman founder: ask about TiE Udaipur HER, which can lead to regional and global pitch competitions.
• Early-stage founder, idea to first steps: ask about the Nurture programme, which is mentorship from charter members.

Go in with a clear idea

• Be ready to explain the problem you are solving and who has it.
• For HER and the pitch-based programmes, have a short pitch ready.
• Mentoring here comes from volunteer charter members, so a specific question gets a better answer than a general request for help.

Know what it is not

TiE Udaipur does not list a workspace, a grant or an investment fund of its own on its site. Treat it as a mentoring and networking route, and look at the wider TiE network for events such as TiEcon Udaipur 2026.

TiE Udaipur is the Udaipur chapter of TiE, the entrepreneur network that has supported founders through education, mentorship, networking and funding since 1992. Charter members in Udaipur first met in May 2015, the TiE Global Board of Trustees approved the chapter in May 2016, and TiE Udaipur Society was constituted as a body corporate in March 2017. It works from the IT Park in the MIA Extension, Khempura, Udaipur.

TiE Udaipur is a membership and mentoring body, not a funder or a workspace provider. Its own pages describe five pillars: mentoring, networking, education, incubating and funding. What a founder can use today is the chapter's programmes and its network of charter members. Charter members are established entrepreneurs and professionals who mentor newer founders. Becoming a charter member is by invitation only.

Programmes

The programmes page lists four standing programmes, each for a different audience.

TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) is for high school students. It is a mentor-led course covering ideation, design thinking, lean business models, teamwork and pitch preparation, and it ends in a business-plan competition with local and global finals.

TiE University (TiE U) is for college and university students with a startup idea. It runs for six months with mentors, workshops, pitch competitions and networking events.

TiE Udaipur HER is for women entrepreneurs. It offers structured learning, mentorship, pitch practice and networking, and selected participants represent Udaipur at TiE Women regional and global pitch competitions.

TiE Udaipur Nurture is for early-stage founders who need to get from an idea to execution. Founders get mentorship from TiE Udaipur charter members and expert-led sessions to validate the problem, build a business model and plan next steps.

Who it suits

Students, women founders and idea-stage founders in south Rajasthan will find the clearest fit. The chapter describes Udaipur as the business hub for districts such as Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Banswara, Dungarpur, Sirohi, Bhilwara and Pratapgarh. The site gives no application forms, dates or intake cycles, so the way in is to contact the chapter directly.
