TECH HORIZON 2.0 is a premier national-level innovation hackathon, meticulously organized by the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society (GNITC Student Branch Chapter) at Guru Nanak Institutions
Technical Campus (Autonomous), Hyderabad. This 48-hour offline event is designed to unite developers, innovators, and problem-solvers from across India, challenging them to address real-world problems using cutting-edge technologies. Participants will engage in a comprehensive journey from identifying impactful problems and designing innovative, scalable solutions to building functional prototypes and presenting their ideas to a panel of industry experts and judges. This hackathon serves as a dynamic platform to transform conceptual ideas into tangible innovations across a multitude of domains. Who Should Apply This hackathon is open to a broad spectrum of participants, including Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students, Ph.D. scholars, and working professionals. Teams should consist of 3 to 6 members. Multiple teams from the same college are encouraged to participate. Tracks & Themes TECH HORIZON 2.0 features a diverse array of themes to inspire innovation: Health & Biotech Security & Surveillance E-Commerce Clean & Green Technology Generative AI Smart Automation Blockchain & Cryptography Game Development Circuit Design Embedded Systems Defence Next Gen Communication Sustainable Development Open Innovation (Any real-world problem) Format & Timeline The hackathon is a 48-hour intensive offline event held in November 2026 at Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus, Hyderabad. The flow includes initial registration and theme selection, followed by idea submission. Teams will then have 48 hours for prototype development, culminating in a final presentation and evaluation by judges. Evaluation criteria include Innovation & Creativity, Problem Relevance, Technical Implementation, Prototype Quality, Presentation & Clarity, and Real-world Impact.
