MeV Sangam: Mumbai is a single-evening, invitation-style gathering in BKC, Mumbai, timed to coincide with two major ecosystem events landing in the city back to back: Solana Summit India and Devcon. The premise is simple - for one night, the Solana and Ethereum crowds share the same room, off the record, with no panels and no pitches.
Why this gathering, why now The two roadmaps have started answering each other. Solana has shipped Alpenglow, pushing finality toward roughly 200ms, with preconfs now live. New block engines - Jito, Harmonic, Bifrost and Titan Builder - keep arriving, and capabilities such as market-tick matching are landing, with orderflow games already in play. On the Ethereum side, the Strawmap targets a 200M gas floor, ePBS, and slot times cut from 12s to 8s, while FOCIL and Constellation chase the same inclusion goal. Meanwhile, "protected" orderflow still gets sandwiched on four of six chains.
That tension frames the evening's conversation: who wins the latency race? And does enshrined block building end the builder moat, or lock it in?
Who it's for Searchers, validators, block builders, market makers and researchers - the people who actually operate in and study the MEV supply chain. The format is deliberately small: one bar, a few seats, and a room built for candid conversation rather than stage talks.
Format and agenda
Organiser context Hosted by Astralane, which describes itself as building neutral infrastructure across the whole market - a positioning that underpins the event's framing. The name draws on the Mahabharat: the great houses gather on one field, and the rare position is the neutral ground. That neutral ground is the sangam.
Practical notes The event is free to attend, but capacity is intentionally limited, so early registration is advised. It runs for roughly two and a half hours on the evening of 3 November 2026 in Mumbai.
