Model Presentation and Competition 2026 is a flagship student innovation showcase hosted by the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur as part of the Industry-Academia Conclave-2026 (IAC-2026). The competition invites students from engineering and non-engineering institutions, universities, and schools (Std. 5th onwards) to demonstrate creativity, innovative thinking, and technical skill by presenting working models or mobile applications that apply modern science and technology to real-world problems.
Who can participate
- College students: B.Tech/BE/B.Sc. Engineering, Diploma Engineering, ITI, and students from non-engineering colleges and universities
- School students: Std. 5 onwards
- Teams of up to four members; inter-college, inter-school, and inter-specialisation teams are permitted
What to expect
Each team presents one working model accompanied by an A2 landscape poster explaining the idea. A jury evaluates entries on novelty, application, and feasibility, and selects the winner, first runner-up, second runner-up, and consolation prize recipients.
