Who can apply as an individual?
An Indian citizen aged 21 or above, incubated in an incubator (MoU required for final approval, Letter of Support at application). If employed, a No Objection Certificate from the employer is needed. The applicant must have a registered company/startup before grant release.
What are the eligibility criteria for a startup company?
The startup must be a private limited company, partnership firm, or LLP under Indian law, with incorporation date not more than 5 years prior to application. Turnover must be less than ₹100 crore in any previous financial year. Minimum 51% of capital must be owned by resident Indian citizens/companies. The startup must have a Project Leader and adequate R&D facility or be associated/incubated at an incubator.
