The MeitY TIDE 2.0 Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) grant provides funding up to ₹4 lakhs to technology entrepreneurs and innovators in the ICT domain. This grant is designed to support first-generation innovators who are committed to exploring a business idea and have a formal business plan and a proof of concept. Recipients are required to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations full-time and must register for the pre-incubation program at SINE, IIT Bombay. The grant is not a stop-gap arrangement and cannot be concurrent with any other remuneration or fellowship.

Who is eligible to apply?
Indian citizens who have completed at least 4 years of full-time undergraduate/postgraduate education in science or engineering (or a 3-year degree/diploma), who are first-generation innovative entrepreneurs with no prior source of income, and who have a formal business plan and proof of concept in ICT sectors.
Can I receive this grant while being employed or holding another fellowship?
No, the EiR support cannot be concurrent with any other remuneration or fellowship. You must pursue your entrepreneurial aspirations full-time.
Do I need to be registered with SINE IIT Bombay?
Yes, grant recipients must be registered for the pre-incubation program at SINE for the entire duration of support.
