Saveetha Engineering College (SEC), established in 2001 and holding autonomous status since 2019-2020, supports entrepreneurship through its Active Entrepreneurship Cell and SCOFT Saveetha Centre for Future Technology. The institution provides extensive infrastructure to foster innovation, including a dedicated AICTE-IDEA LAB equipped for prototyping, electronics development, and analytical work with tools like laser cutters, 3D printers, soldering stations, oscilloscopes, digital microscopes, and various hand tools. Additionally, SEC offers specialized facilities such as a Nano Material Fabrication Centre, a DSIR/TEPP Sponsored Fabrication of PTFE Material Centre, and an Advanced Machining Centre. Startups and innovators can access high-performance computing resources, including NVIDIA DGX H100, A100, L40 GPUs, META LLAMA 3 LLM, NVIDIA Jetson Nano, and Orin Nano Developer Kits, along with 24/7 lab access for computing, software, and internet.
