Programmes they run
Standing programmes at Anupam Innovation & Incubation Centre (AIIC), separate from the funding calls above.
Both programmes here run under MeitY's GENESIS scheme. Only the Entrepreneur-in-Residence call has a published way in; AUGMENT has no application route of its own.
GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR)
FellowshipMeitY's Entrepreneur-in-Residence residency, run at AIIC for early-stage founders in electronics, IT, ICT and deep tech.
Best for: Early-stage founders, students and researchers in electronics, IT, ICT and deep tech, especially outside the metros
- Idea – MVP
- Grant support for selected startups
With MeitY Startup Hub
What you get, who can apply and how to applyHide details
AIIC runs the Entrepreneur-in-Residence strand of MeitY's GENESIS scheme, which backs early-stage technology founders with a focus on Tier-II and Tier-III cities. Cohort 3 was announced as open in August 2026; an earlier cohort, EiR-2, ran before it and the centre publicised a grant to one of its EiR-2 companies at the end of 2025. Applications are handled by MeitY Startup Hub rather than by the centre.
What you get
- Grant support for selected founders
- Mentorship and industry guidance
- Help with product development and building an MVP
- Incubation and business growth support
- Introductions into startup networks and ecosystem events
Who can apply
- Entrepreneurs, students, researchers and early-stage founders
- People working in AI and machine learning, IoT, blockchain, cybersecurity, semiconductors, AR/VR and other emerging technologies
- Startups and innovators from Tier-II and Tier-III cities
- No requirement to be an LNCT student, and no incorporation requirement, is stated
How selection works: the centre does not publish its selection steps. Because applications are submitted to MeitY Startup Hub with AIIC named as a preference, the decision sits with the scheme rather than with the centre alone.
How to apply: apply through MeitY Startup Hub's GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence application page and select Anupam Incubation and Innovation Center (AIIC) as your first preference. Check first that a cohort is open — no closing date was published for cohort 3.
AUGMENT Accelerator
AcceleratorAccelerator cohorts run with the ICAI Bhopal Chapter under MeitY GENESIS; no open application route is published.
Best for: Startups already supported by the centre under MeitY GENESIS
- Grant support for selected startups
With MeitY Startup Hub, ICAI Bhopal Chapter
What you get, who can apply and how to applyHide details
AUGMENT is the centre's accelerator, described as powered by MeitY GENESIS and run in collaboration with the ICAI Bhopal Chapter. Two cohorts have been referred to, 1.0 and 2.0, and companies in both received grant support. Six AUGMENT companies pitched at the ICAI Bhopal startup conclave in February 2026, where the centre was an incubation partner.
There is no application page, intake date or eligibility list for AUGMENT anywhere on the group's site, and the centre's own site is offline. From the outside it reads as a stage the centre runs for founders already in its GENESIS pipeline rather than an open call, so the practical route in is the Entrepreneur-in-Residence programme above.
How to apply: no route is published. Ask the centre directly if you think you fit.
Labs & facilities
Equipment and space on campus.
The centre has never published a facilities page. What follows is taken from its own short description of itself and should be confirmed with them.
Co-working space
Listed by the centre among what it provides. No size, location or booking detail is published.
Laboratory access through the LNCT institutions
Access via LNCT Group of Institutions and LNCT University
The centre describes itself as a hub whose spoke centres are the group's colleges and hospitals, with laboratory facilities and subject experts reached through them. The labs belong to those institutions, not to the incubator, and no equipment is named.
Support services
Help offered alongside funding and space.
Business advisory
Mentorship, industry guidance, and help with product and MVP development for founders in its GENESIS residency.
Market access
The centre put six of its accelerator companies in front of investors and the Bhopal chartered-accountant community at an ICAI startup conclave in February 2026.
Recognitions & empanelments
Official approvals this incubator holds.
The centre's own website is offline, so this rests on the LNCT Group's announcement rather than on the centre's page or a government list.
Selected under MeitY Startup Hub's GENESIS scheme· 2024
Announced by the LNCT Group in September 2024, and the centre calls itself an implementing agency of MeitY GENESIS. We could not confirm it against a government list — MeitY Startup Hub's own scheme pages load their content by script and returned nothing readable. It is what lets the centre take GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence applicants; it does not say anything about how long the support runs.
How to apply to Anupam Innovation & Incubation Centre (AIIC)
Which programme to go for
GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence is the only programme here with a published way in. If you are building in electronics, IT, ICT or deep tech — AI, IoT, blockchain, cybersecurity, semiconductors, AR/VR — and you are at idea or early prototype stage, that is your route. AUGMENT Accelerator has no open application page, so treat it as something you may be invited into later rather than something you can apply to now.
How applications work
You do not apply to AIIC. You apply to MeitY Startup Hub's GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence call and select Anupam Incubation and Innovation Center as your first preference. That means two things worth planning around: the questions and the timetable are the scheme's, not the centre's, and your preference is a request, not a placement.
Before you apply
Check that a cohort is actually open. Cohort 3 was announced in August 2026 with no closing date published, and the centre does not run a live listing of its own.
Expect to make the Tier-II and Tier-III angle real. The centre says repeatedly that it exists to back founders outside the metros, so where you are building and who you are building for is worth being concrete about.
Be ready to say what you will have built by the end of the residency. The support the centre describes — MVP and product development help, mentorship, business growth support — is aimed at getting an early idea to something demonstrable, so a plan that ends in a working prototype fits it better than one that ends in a market study.
Getting hold of them
The centre's own website is down, and it has no separate contact page or phone number of its own. The published address for it is an email on LNCT University's domain. If you need an answer before a deadline, allow time for a reply, and say which programme you are asking about.
What to double-check yourself
Ask what incubation costs and whether the centre takes any equity — neither is stated anywhere. Ask what you would actually get on campus, since the labs described belong to the LNCT colleges rather than to the incubator. And confirm which centre you are dealing with: AIIC and the Kalchuri LNCT Group Incubation Centre are presented together, and several claims are made for the pair rather than for one of them.
About Anupam Innovation & Incubation Centre (AIIC)
Anupam Incubation & Innovation Center (AIIC) is an incubation centre in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, promoted by the LNCT Group of Institutions and LNCT University. It was selected by MeitY Startup Hub under the central government's GENESIS scheme in September 2024, and it now runs the GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence programme for early-stage technology founders. The group usually presents it alongside a sibling centre at LNCT, the Kalchuri LNCT Group Incubation Centre (KLIC), and writes about the two together as KLIC-AIIC.
Its own website, aiic.lnctu.ac.in, is not working. Both that address and aiic.lnct.ac.in return a blank hosting-panel default page behind an invalid certificate, and the Internet Archive has no capture of the real site since November 2025. Everything current about the centre is published on the LNCT Group's own site instead, so that is where a founder has to look today. When the centre's site was live it carried a single About page and no programme, team or application pages.
What they support
The centre's own description is broad: it says its focus areas span medical, ayurveda, dental care, hospitality, renewable technology, architecture, agriculture, SaaS, software, biotechnology and engineering technology, and that it is otherwise sector agnostic with a multi-disciplinary approach. Treat that as a statement of intent rather than a filter. The same wording appears word for word on the sibling KLIC site with the names swapped, so it is group copy rather than anything specific to AIIC.
The intake that is actually running is narrower and much clearer. GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence at AIIC is for people working in electronics, IT, ICT and deep tech, and it names AI and machine learning, IoT, blockchain, cybersecurity, semiconductors and AR/VR as the kinds of work it wants. The centre says it is aimed at entrepreneurs, students, researchers and early-stage founders, and it puts explicit weight on innovators from Tier-II and Tier-III cities. Nothing on any page requires you to be an LNCT student, and nothing requires an incorporated company, though the scheme's own form may ask for more than the centre's page does.
Programmes
GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence is the main route in. The centre says selected founders get grant support, mentorship and industry guidance, help building a product and an MVP, incubation and business growth support, and access to startup networks. Cohort 3 was announced as open in August 2026; an earlier cohort, EiR-2, ran before it, and the centre publicised a grant to one of its EiR-2 startups at the end of 2025. Applications do not go to AIIC directly — they go to MeitY Startup Hub's own application page, where you choose Anupam Incubation and Innovation Center as your first preference.
AUGMENT Accelerator is the centre's second named programme, described as powered by MeitY GENESIS and run with the ICAI Bhopal Chapter. Two cohorts have been referred to, 1.0 and 2.0, both carrying grant support for the companies in them. There is no application page for AUGMENT and no published intake or eligibility, so from the outside it reads as something the centre runs for founders already inside its GENESIS pipeline rather than an open call.
Facilities and support
The centre lists fund support, management advice, mentorship, co-working space and technical assistance as what it provides. It describes itself as a hub with spoke centres across the group's institutions — LNCT, LNCT Excellence, LNCT & Science, LNCT Pharmacy, LNCT University, the Bhopal-Indore campus, LNCT Jabalpur, JNCT Bhopal, CEC Bilaspur, Rishiraj Dental College, LN Medical College and JK Hospital — with laboratory access and subject experts reached through those institutions. Those labs belong to the colleges, not to the incubator, and the same spoke list is published by KLIC too. No page lists the centre's own equipment, so ask what you would actually get access to before you count on it.
Track record
The named startups the centre has publicised are its AUGMENT and GENESIS EiR cohort companies: Findun Innovation, Patel Agro Products & Services (Grow Bio / KisanOne), PaPaPet, Qureo, DZLOG Delivery Services (DropZone) and MagicBolt AI. Six of them appeared at the ICAI Bhopal Startup Conclave in February 2026, where AIIC was an incubation partner, and the conclave itself reported over 150 applications, a top 50 and 15 finalists — those are the event's numbers, not the centre's intake.
The group also claims a Best Incubator, 1st Runner-Up placing at state level in Madhya Pradesh, without naming the awarding body or the year, and it claims that jointly for KLIC and AIIC. No page states how many startups AIIC has supported in total.
How to apply
There is one published route: the MeitY Startup Hub GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence application, with AIIC picked as first preference. Cohort 3 opened in August 2026 and no closing date was published, so check whether a cohort is open before you start. For anything else — AUGMENT, incubation outside GENESIS, or space on campus — write to the centre's own address at LNCT University, since no other form exists. Bear in mind that the address and the centre's website were last confirmed from an archived copy of a site that is currently offline.
