The MeitY GENESIS EiR Program 2.0, titled the Augment Accelerator Program by its host, is a major initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) designed to foster innovation in Tier II and III cities. The program, implemented through the Anupam Innovation & Incubation Centre (AIIC) and KLIC-LNCT, focuses on accelerating early-stage startups in the EDM (Electronic Design & Manufacturing), Deeptech, and ICT sectors.
The program offers a grant of up to ā¹10 Lakhs to selected startups, providing them with essential financial assistance to move their innovation from the ideation to the prototyping stage. Additionally, participants benefit from world-class facilities, advanced mentorship and training, networking opportunities with industry leaders, and direct support from the MeitY Startup Hub ecosystem.
