Business Innovation and Incubation Centre

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) is a flagship initiative of Kerala Startup Mission to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among the student and academic fraternity in the educational institutions in the State of Kerala. We at IEDC MGU host various workshops, speaker sessions, competitions to develop skill sets and provide essential resources to take up entrepreneurship as a career.

The NRICMI is established at Business Innovation and Incubation Centre (BIIC) of Mahatma Gandhi University on 24th May 2023 with an aim to develop new medical technologies, treatments, drugs, and therapies by collaborating with Dr. N.Radhakrishnan Foundation for research on venous diseases. The centre aims to promote innovation in medical practices, technologies, and processes on medical and molecular research in connection with other R&D institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and healthcare providers to conduct studies and clinical trials so as to facilitate the transfer of scientific knowledge and cutting-edge technologies from the laboratory to clinical settings, aiming to improve patient care and healthcare delivery. The center also aims to provide training programs and educational opportunities for healthcare professionals, researchers, and students to enhance skills, disseminate research findings, and cultivate a new generation of innovators in the medical field.
