Programme for street vendors

The department runs PM SVANidhi in Uttarakhand. The scheme gives collateral-free working capital loans to street vendors, in three tranches. The department's page says that, as of July 2025, over 63,316 street vendors in the state had applied for loans through the online portal, and that loans have been disbursed to over 50,635 street vendors across all three phases. Beneficiaries also receive an interest subsidy from the central and state governments.
