The Pilot component under the GENESIS Scheme bridges the gap between MVP and commercialization by supporting startups to execute real-world pilots. Enhances product validation, market credibility, and investor readiness. Eligibility: DPIIT Startup (Pvt. Ltd. or LLP), MVP Ready, valid Work Order/PO from a corporate, PSU, or Unicorn. Priority sectors: ICT, AI, DeepTech, ESDM, and Innovative hardware.

GENESIS EiR Grant

Grant scheme

Provides financial support up to ₹10 Lakhs to transform innovative ideas into working prototypes.

What you get, who can apply and how to apply

Supports early-stage innovators from Tier-II and Tier-III cities in electronics, IT, and deeptech. Provides mentorship, incubation, idea validation, and prototyping funds. Eligibility: Indian citizens who are either student founders or founders with less than 2 years of experience, based in Tier-II or Tier-III cities. Focus Domains: ICT, Electronics, and Deeptech. Requires physical incubation commitment at JECRC Incubation Centre. Benefits include access to R&D labs, coworking spaces, networking, IP protection, and guidance on market entry and funding.

About JECRC Incubation Centre

JECRC Incubation Centre (JIC) is a Section 8 not-for-profit incubator established at JECRC University in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Supported by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) under the TIDE 2.0 programme, JIC provides early-stage startups with mentorship, co-working space, seed funding, and access to university research infrastructure.

The incubator runs structured programmes including a 10-week intensive cohort for JECRC students, a TIDE 2.0 Entrepreneur-in-Residence track offering up to INR 4 lakh in grants, and a virtual accelerator with demo-day pitch practice. To date, JIC has supported over 150 ventures, secured funding for 51 startups, and disbursed grants exceeding INR 5 crore. Incubated startups receive 24/7 access to a fully equipped co-working facility.
