It offers a unique platform for participants to showcase their technical prowess and creative thinking in a dynamic, competitive environment. Who Should Apply This opportunity is open for team participation, with each team comprising 2 to 4 members. It is ideal for students and innovators passionate about applying their skills in IT, Biomedical Engineering, and Life Sciences Research to real-world challenges. Tracks / Themes Biothon 2026 emphasizes innovation in several key areas. While exact problem statements will be revealed to participants, the event focuses on themes related to IT Operations, Biomedical Engineering, and Life Sciences Research, including: Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Innovation Management Bioinformatics Critical Thinking Creative Thinking Engineering Skills Format & Timeline Biothon 2026 features a multi-stage competition structure: 1. Submission PPT (Deadline: June 20th, 2026): Participants must register online, select a domain and problem statement, and prepare a presentation using the official template. This submission should cover problem analysis, proposed solution, technology stack, and expected outcomes. 2. Video Submission (Deadline: June 25th, 2026): Shortlisted teams from Round 1 will record a detailed 5-7 minute walkthrough video of their solution, explaining the problem, approach, and impact. 3. Grand Finale (Offline: July 4th, 2026): The top teams will be invited to Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, for an offline grand finale. Here, teams will demonstrate their complete solutions live to an expert judging panel, engage in Q&A sessions, and present their innovative work. Prizes Biothon 2026 offers a total cash prize pool of ₹1,80,000, distributed across three domains: Health Care, Agriculture, and Environment & Biodiversity. In addition to cash prizes, winners will receive certificates, and Rank 1 teams in each domain will also secure a pre-placement interview opportunity. Eligibility This competition is open to teams of 2 to 4 participants. Participants must complete their registration on the official BIOTHON website to be considered successfully registered.
