Indian private limited companies incorporated at least one year prior, that are verified iDEX challenge winners and DPIIT-recognised with Angel Tax exemption (if applicable). Both incubatee and non-incubatee MSMEs/startups referred by iDEX can apply.

SIDBI-iDEX Seed Fund Programme at SINE, IIT Bombay – Up to ₹1.5 Cr

The SIDBI-iDEX Seed Fund Programme at SINE provides seed funding to innovation-led MSMEs and startups in defence and related sectors that have been selected and supported by iDEX challenges. The aim is to promote import substitution, domestic defence manufacturing and exports, and to enable scale-up of early-stage defence startups.

Funding support: ₹10 lakh to ₹1.5 crore per MSME/startup. Instrument: Equity / equity-like investment. Post-investment SIDBI shareholding generally does not exceed 10%.

SINE verifies iDEX challenge-winner status with iDEX-DIO. Eligible applications are evaluated for the seed-fund investment, which is made as equity/equity-like instruments with SINE acting as implementing partner on behalf of SIDBI.
