Chain Reaction '26 is the flagship operations and supply chain case competition organised by Club Kaizen at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore, in association with ISCEA SCNext SkillPro. Positioned as the largest and most prestigious event of its kind in Central India, it gives MBA students a structured arena to demonstrate analytical and strategic capability in supply chain management and operations.
Who Should Apply The competition is open exclusively to students enrolled in a two-year MBA or PGDM programme, in either their first or second year. All members of a team must belong to the same institute and be pursuing the same degree, though there is no restriction on specialisation. A student may be part of only one team.
Format & Timeline The competition runs across three rounds. Round 1 is an online quiz hosted on the Unstop platform, open from 10:00 AM on 14 November 2026 to 10:00 AM on 15 November 2026. Teams that clear the quiz advance to Round 2, a simulation game held online on 20 November 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with details shared by email. Round 3 is the final case competition: finalists receive a case study from the organising team, submit their case on 28 November 2026, and present it on 29 November 2026. All rounds after the quiz are conducted online.
Prizes The competition offers more than ₹2,50,000 in total rewards. Cash prizes total ₹92,999: the winner receives ₹42,000, the first runner-up ₹30,000, and the second runner-up ₹20,999. Winning teams also gain access to ISCEA SCNext SkillPro certifications valued at over ₹2,00,000. Specifically, the winning team can avail the ISCEA CSCA/CDDP global online training and certification programme — retail priced at approximately US $1,100 (about ₹80,000) — at a discounted scholarship price of ₹10,000 per member, including online and e-book training plus the certification examination. First runner-up team members can access the same CSCA/CDDP programme at a scholarship price of ₹15,000 per member.
Eligibility Teams must register with exactly three members. All members must be students of a two-year MBA/PGDM course at the same institute and pursuing the same degree. Participants must provide correct and consistent information at every stage; plagiarism at any stage leads to direct elimination, and the organising team and judges hold final authority in any dispute.

The event is run in association with ISCEA SCNext SkillPro, the student and early-career arm of the International Supply Chain Education Alliance, which provides the certification components of the prize package.
