HERHACK 2026 is a 36-hour national-level, women-focused hackathon organised at Echelon Institute of Technology in Faridabad, Haryana. Who Should Apply The hackathon is open to women participants aged 18 and above — including students, developers, and technology enthusiasts. Teams must consist of 2 to 5 members. Registration is completely free of charge.
Tracks / Themes Participants choose from four official tracks:
Format & Timeline The hackathon runs for 36 hours on 20–21 November 2026 at Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad, Haryana. Projects must be submitted by the submission deadline of 10 November 2026. Selected teams then participate in the 36-hour hackathon and present their solutions for evaluation. Projects are evaluated on innovation, technical implementation, problem relevance, real-world impact, usability, scalability, quality of execution, and final demonstration. Detailed evaluation and submission instructions are communicated to shortlisted participants.
Prizes The total prize pool is ₹2,00,000. Each of the four main tracks awards a 1st prize of ₹20,000, a 2nd prize of ₹15,000, and a 3rd prize of ₹10,000. In addition, a Women Safety Special Winner award of ₹20,000 is available — this is not a separate fifth track; a project addressing women safety can be submitted under any of the four official tracks and may additionally be considered for the special award. Goodies and certificates are also provided to eligible participants as per the official event guidelines.
Project Requirements Projects must be original and relevant to the selected track. Previously built projects should not be submitted as new hackathon projects, and plagiarism or direct copying of existing projects is strictly prohibited. Teams must provide the required project repository and documentation, along with a project demonstration or video as required. The final presentation should clearly communicate the problem, solution, technology, innovation, and impact.
